Top Ten Best blackjack Tips

A. The first blackjack tip you should know is that you need to focus before you can start winning and don’t deposit any money till you get acquainted with all the rules that are guiding the game. Note that gambling while drunk is like flushing your hard earned dollars down the toilet. Even if you want to gamble online, keep the drinks rill after the games.

B. Note that you will never win with value less than 17 unless the dealer busts because has to place a card down, or hit on any hand of 16 and below. When the dealer shows an Ace, K, Q, J, 8, 9 or 10, you may hit on the hand below 17 because the dealer will likely not bust with these cards. The dealer busts at almost half of the time when he shows a 4, 5 or 6. You are advised to stand in any hand above 11 in such scenario.

C. You are free to play two hands and double your bet if you are dealt two cards of the same value. This is called splitting but you are advised to split if the cards values are 7’s or 8’s against a dealer’s card or equal or lower value. Splitting 10’s and 5’s isn’t advisable at all but you can always split Aces and 3’s or 2’s against a 4, 5, or 6.

D. Irrespective of what card value the dealer is showing, you are advised to always split your 8s and Aces.

E. If the dealer’s up card is 10, is better for you to continue to ‘hit’ till you have at least 17.

F. You may be relying on the dealer to go over 21 and bust if you choose to stand on a total of 17 or lower. Note that busting with a single hit isn’t advisable if you have a ‘soft’ hand but it is better you hit on a soft 13 – 17 if your hand contains at least three cards. If the dealer’s up card is either 5 or 6, it is best for you to double down soft 13 – 17 if you have only two card in your hand. If the dealer up card is from 3 – 6, you should double down but it is better to stand if the up card is 2, 7 or 8.

G. Rule variations can be quite advantageous so take note of the fact that the tables that offer you doubling down option or any two cards and those that make the dealer to stand on soft 17 are the tables you will settle for. You have to also ensure that the table you choose has a minimum that isn’t more than 5% of your entire bet money.

H. You have to hit when the dealer’s up card is from7 to Ace but stand on a hard 13 to 16 if the dealer’s up card is from 6 down.

I. You should stand on hard 17 if the dealer shows 7 or lower.

J. You should stand when the dealer’s up card is 3-6. You will not be able to win as much as you want if you don’t have absolute concentration on the game while gaming.
